We are a team of engineers and designers from Barcelona, united with the purpose of carrying out a social inclusion project through fashion. The latter is understood as an aesthetic and beauty channel. We conceive it as a tool to break taboos and hidden stereotypes, as well as eradicate social differences linked to prejudices.
The goal is to provide people with hearing impairment with an aesthetically attractive headset / headset. ECHO proposes a headset that opens a window to a new community of users who do not want to isolate themselves from the world. People who wish to remain connected with themselves and with their surroundings. With ECHO we have achieved it.
ECHO is a product that activates its operation through bone transmission, avoiding acting directly on the ear canal, thus solving many of the problems that a current headset involves: distraction, isolation of external sounds, disconnection from our environment… The user is never completely isolated.
In addition, ECHO consists of a hydrophobic coating which repels any type of liquid extending the product’s use moments.
